- LE MAT -
This card certainly causes an upheaval, but every arcane is a warning, and so the message that the fool gives us is this: man must fear nothing and must go towards his destiny confident in his faith and above all against the tide, knowing that if there is everything and nothing: it is up to him to choose. Only the fool thinks he can escape destiny; the innocence and freshness of his attitude will shield him from possible dangers.
THE TIME HAS COME TO FACE ONE'S DESTINY, WHATEVER IT MAY BE!!!
The card is unnumbered because the madman is a character who does not count, insubstantial, who does not belong to himself, lost in his unawareness and indispensability.
But who is this fool?
A man of young age, cheerfully dressed. His costume is adorned with jingling bells and his hat is as extravagant as his attire. In his right hand he holds a stick, but it does not seem to serve him as a support. His few possessions, a symbol of insubstantiality, are contained in a bag that hangs from a stick.
Heedless of danger and pain even when a white lynx bites him in the left calf, indifferent to everything around him, he goes towards his destiny with a lost gaze he goes towards his inner world at war unreachable to others heedless of the dangers of suffering, of loneliness, by now he has attained a wisdom that allows him to detach himself from earthly things, from material vanities. The soul is lost in the nothingness of infinity.
